Terms and Conditions

        1. Definitions
        1.1 Ocean Maldives refers to the individuals responsible for organizing each specific trip and anyone engaged by Ocean Maldives to assist in the Trip.
        1.2 Participant means the individual for whom Ocean Maldives agrees to provide the Trip. Age and physical conditions may impose restrictions. For further clarification, please contact us.
        1.3 Trip refers to the Maldives excursion organized and described in detail in the Trip Program.
        1.4 Trip Cost indicates the total price outlined in the Maldives Trip Program.
      

        2. Liability
        2.1 Ocean Maldives will execute the Trip with reasonable care and expertise.
        2.2 In cases where a third party is involved in delivering any part of the Trip, Ocean Maldives will exercise reasonable caution in selecting them but will not be liable for the third party’s performance or any loss or damage, either personal or to belongings, caused by them.
        2.3 The Participant acknowledges and accepts that the nature of the Trip involves inherent risks.
        2.4 Participants engage in the Trip at their own risk. Ocean Maldives shall not be held responsible for any loss of profit or other indirect losses, regardless of whether they are due to Ocean Maldives’ actions or those of third parties engaged to assist in the Trip.
        2.5 Ocean Maldives does not provide any guarantees regarding the success of the Trip, as outcomes depend on external factors like weather and sea conditions, which are beyond its control.
        2.6 Ocean Maldives shall not be held liable for Trip delays or cancellations caused by factors outside its control or for damages to a participant’s belongings.
        2.7 Ocean Maldives’ liability to the Participant is strictly limited to the Trip Cost.

        3. Insurance
        3.1 Participants are responsible for securing sufficient insurance coverage for all risks associated with the Trip. Proof of insurance must be provided to Ocean Maldives upon request.
        3.2 It is recommended that Participants acquire cancellation insurance after paying the deposit.
        3.3 Participants are solely responsible for ensuring their insurance coverage meets all necessary requirements for the Trip.

        4. Payments
        4.1 Participants are required to pay the Trip Cost to Ocean Maldives.
        4.2 A 40% deposit of the Trip Cost is required at the time of booking, once Ocean Maldives confirms that a spot is available, as space is limited.
        4.3 The Trip Cost includes variable elements like fuel, which may fluctuate. If the fuel cost changes by more than ±10%, Ocean Maldives reserves the right to adjust the Trip Cost accordingly.
        4.4 The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival.

        5. Cancellation Policy
        5.1 If a Participant wishes to cancel or withdraw from the Trip, notice must be provided in writing, either via email or WhatsApp. In such cases:

        If the cancellation occurs at any point before the Trip’s start date, the deposit paid will not be refunded. In certain situations, and upon review, a voucher equivalent to the deposit may be offered for future use. 

        6. Additional Terms and Conditions
        6.1 Ocean Maldives reserves the right to modify the Trip itinerary if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
        6.2 These terms and conditions, alongside the signed disclaimer, represent the entire agreement between the parties. Any variations must be agreed upon in writing.
        6.3 If any part of these terms and conditions or the disclaimer is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
        6.4 All services offered by Ocean Maldives are provided exclusively within the Maldives. Maldivian law will govern this agreement, and the Maldivian Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction over any related disputes.
